The Roman Superhighway will be made an all-weather major artery of Bataan. If pushed through, the major road link would be installed with computerized lightings, safety measures, traffic lights and signages in every corner.
This may be made possible with the filing last week of a united legislative push for the full conversion and maintenance of the said Superhighway by three Bataan lawmakers.
Congressman Albert S. Garcia filed House Bill No. 1081, Congressewoman Gila S. Garcia, HB No. 1967, and Congressman Jernie Jett Nisay, HB No. 3131. The bills were already approved at the House committee level of public works and highways.
Congresswoman Garcia said: “This is crucial as we prepare for major catalysts of growth such as the Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge (BCIB), expanded industrial activity, ports and logistics development, and increasing mobility across Luzon.”
“This is not just a road project– it is a long-term investment in regional connectivity and economic progress,” added the lady solon of Bataan’s 3rd District covering the towns of Dinalupihan, Morong, Bagac, and Mariveles.
