AFAB provides lighting to basketball court

MARIVELES, Bataan – The youth more particularly the basketball enthusiasts and other sports minded individuals will now have more time to stay at the barangay’s basketball court.
This bit of good news was brought up by Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) which had signed a memorandum of agreement with Barangay Malaya last May 21 for the provision of lighting of basketball court.

Under the MOA, the AFAB shall shoulder the basketball court of Barangay Malaya’s power consumption of up to 256 kilowatt hour.
Both parties recognize the importance of basketball court which is beneficial to health and sports development.
“Tuluy-tuloy ang ating koordinasyon at pag-uusap upang huwag mabinbin ang nasimulan natin dito sa Freeport,” said AFAB Chair and Administrator Emmanuel Pineda. (Coordination and dialogue with local officials should continue so as not to stall what has been started in the Freeport.)
Mariveles Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion acknowledged AFAB’s continuing effort to carry out important projects in the locality.
