AFAB sets the tone for 2026 with commitment to accountability

The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) kicks off 2026 with its commitment to accountability when it held audit entrance conference within the first week of January 2026.

The meeting brought together AFAB officials and the Commission on Audit team to align on audit objectives and reinforce their commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance.

The Audit team led by Supervising Auditor Imelda S. Latay discussed the Audit scope, methodology, timeliness, documentation requirements and coordination mechanism to conduct of 2025 audit.

Audit Entrance conference is held in various national government corporations and other entities to kick off the audit process establishing its foundation by discussing the audit purpose, ensuring alignment and setting clear expectations for both auditor and auditee before fieldwork begins.
