Alternergy Holdings Corporation announced that its 28-megawatt peak (MWp) Hermosa Solar Power Plant in Bataan has successfully achieved energization as load, marking a significant step toward full commercial operations. This milestone signifies the beginning of the project’s testing and commissioning phase, a crucial process to ensure that the solar facility meets operational and safety standards before entering the grid commercially.
Located in Hermosa, Bataan, the solar power project is part of Alternergy’s growing renewable energy portfolio, which aims to contribute to the Philippines’ transition toward clean and sustainable power. The energization milestone reflects the company’s continued commitment to expanding solar capacity and supporting the government’s renewable energy goals.
Once fully operational, the Hermosa Solar Power Plant is expected to supply clean energy to thousands of homes and businesses, helping reduce carbon emissions and dependence on fossil fuels.
