Bataan sweeps awards at CDA “Koop Best sa Tres” 2025

Bataan once again proved its dominance in cooperative excellence after bringing home multiple awards at the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region III’s “Koop Best sa Tres” held on October 23, 2025, at Heroes Hall, San Fernando City, Pampanga.

Showcasing the province’s hallmark of teamwork, innovation, and excellence, Bataan’s cooperatives stood out among Central Luzon’s best, earning top recognitions across several major categories.

Leading the victory was the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO) Bataan, which received a Certificate of Recognition for Provincial Best Practices. The award highlighted PCEDO’s groundbreaking initiatives like the Guidebook for Newly Registered Cooperatives and the Geo-Tagging and Data banking System designed to streamline cooperative monitoring and development across the province.

The winning streak continued with several of Bataan cooperatives clinching major honors:

• Cupang West Multipurpose Cooperative – Koop Best sa Tres (Medium Category) Finalist
• CEMBA Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC) – Best in Youth Program
• Watchlife Workers MPC – Best Laboratory Cooperative, Best in Environmental Protection and Preservation Program
• Koop Best sa Tres – Best Performing Cooperative (Large-Millionaire Category)
