Bataeño youth called to join PMA

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Young men and women from this province known for valor and gallantry are called to continue the legacy of Bataan heroes as the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) invites them to take the exam and be a cadet.

The examination to enter the country’s premier military school located in Fort Gregorio H. del Pilar in Baguio City is set on August 2.PMA is calling for applicants who would like to gain the noble privilege of serving the country, acquire free college education with a well-rounded curriculum, monthly salary and allowances, guaranteed job after graduation, and a progressive career as an officer in the Navy, Air Force or Army.

Applicants must be natural-born Filipino citizen, physically fit and of good moral character, single and never have been married, at least high school graduate, and have no administrative or criminal case.

Aspiring cadets must also pass the PMA Entrance Examination, have the minimum height requirement of five feet for both male and female but not over 6’4”, and must meet the age requirement that they should have been born from April 1, 1994 to April 1999 for the 2016 enrolment.

Applicants younger than 17 years old but at least 16 years old on April 1 following the date of examination may apply for cadetship provided that the applicant possesses the abovementioned qualifications.
