BFAR Gawad Pagkilala Awardees

Bataan’s strong commitment to fisheries development and marine conservation was once again recognized during the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Gawad Pagkilala on September 30, 2025 at Mimosa Hilltop, Clark, Pampanga.

This recognition served as the culminating event of the 62nd Fish Conservation Week and the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo), highlighting the vital role of partners and stakeholders in advancing the fisheries sector.

Among the awardees from Bataan are:

• Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) – Bataan
• Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) – Bataan
• Municipal Agriculture Office – Hermosa
• Municipal Agriculture Office – Limay
• Chairman Avelino Capuli, National Fisherfolk Director
• Chairman Ricardo A. Cruz Jr., Regional Fisherfolk Director
