In response to the extreme heat and weather conditions, Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) headed by President Dr. Ruby Santos-Matibag, has announced a temporary dress code for students across all campuses. The move aims to balance student comfort while maintaining a professional learning environment.
Under the new guidelines, students are allowed to wear pants and a white shirt. However, certain attire is strictly prohibited, including sleeveless tops (sando, jerseys, tube-type), see-through clothing, tight-fitted sportswear, cropped tops, and cutoff skirts or shorts.
For footwear, running shoes, black shoes, and rubber shoes are permitted, while slippers, flip-flops, slip-ons, and high-heeled sandals are not allowed.
BPSU emphasizes the importance of adhering to these rules for the safety and well-being of students amid the intense heat. The university urges everyone to comply and stay updated on further advisories. For more information, students are encouraged to follow official BPSU channels.
