Full blast construction of Bataan- Cavite Interlink Bridge will start in 2024 while the Department of Public Works and Highways is focusing on finishing the detailed engineering design.

Bataan Gov. Jose Enrique S. Garcia III disclosed on Friday’s first “Kapihan with the Media” for 2023 that the 32 kilometer $4.5 Billion bridge has been approved by the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA).

The bridge will establish direct link between Region 3 and Region IV-A provinces. It will shorten travel time from three hours to just 30 minutes Bataan to Cavite.

It will spur economic development in the said regions and save motorists from traffic congestions in Metro Manila.
