Cupang Proper, 1st Runner-Up 2025 National Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards

Barangay Cupang Proper of Balanga City earned national recognition upon being named First Runner-Up in the Component City Category at the  2025 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards National Awarding Ceremony held on November 14, 2025 at MICE Center, Quezon City.

Cupang Proper, representing Balanga City, stood out for its exemplary performance in dispute resolution and the effective implementation of barangay justice system.

Balanga City Mayor Raquel Garcia, who joined the delegation in receiving the award, lauded Barangay Cupang Proper for its consistent dedication in upholding a peaceful and well-governed  community.  She said the recognition underscores the city’s ongoing commitment to building responsive and empowered barangays. The award came with cash incentive and plaque. Cupang Proper was initially awarded Regional Champion in the Component City Category.
