BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Department of Health officials launched this morning the “High Impact 5 caravan” to rally the public for a healthy living.
“Sakay na sa jeep ng DOH patungo sa kalusugang pangkalahatan.” This is the message of DOH Region 3 Director Dr. Leonita Gorgolon during this morning’s launch of High Impact 5 Caravan which started with a motorcade from Dinalupihan (from the south) and Mariveles (from the north) and converged at the Crown Royale Hotel, this City.
She said Bataeños are invited to ride in the programs of DOH and lead a healthy life. Director Gorgolon said the program includes Infant Care, Child Care, Maternal Care, HIV/AIDS and Service Delivery Network.
Meanwhile, Governor Abet Garcia lauded DOH, headed by Dr. Gorgolon of Region 3, and its local counterpart, the Provincial Health Office, led by Dr. Rosanna Buccahan, for their vigorous support on local health programs.
Gov Garcia said public health is a vital factor in achieving the province’s vision of attaining the highest human development index in the country which measures the overall quality of life of the people.
The governor believes that in the near future, Bataeños will attain a better life in terms of health, economy and education.
