BPSU choir goes Global

The BPSU choir is led by its singing instructor Noel Villanueva, a UP-educated.

“ We are trying to do our best to win in the coming competitions; We are buckling down to sharpen our singing skills in our bid to become the best chorale not only in Bataan but also to be recognized Globally and become a world-class singers, so to speak,” said Ms. Hanah Grace S. Fernandez, a vocalist of the group.

Philippine Information Agency Head Jose Mari Garcia said that based on the Face book, BPSU choir will compete with 10 other groups of singers from Metro Manila, Pasay City, Paranaque, Las Pinas ang Bulacan to be held at Amoranto Theater in November 10.

Garcia said that BPSU choir had been championed in Christmas carol from 2004 to 2006 in Balanga City and had won also in the regional semi final level for National Music Competition for Young Artist in Cultural Center of the Philippines in Central Luzon. “The BPSU choir is our pride of Bataan that deserves support from our local government officials,” said Garcia.

The BPSU is headed by Dr. Delfin Magpantay, a supportive to the group.
