The iWave Advanced Research Inc. (iWAR), a registered enterprise at the Freeport Area of Bataan, launched last Wednesday the Global Trade Exchange (GTx) to collaborate with leaders in the world in creating the best global trading platform.

Engr. Emmanuel Pineda, administrator of Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), said the GTx shall address the difficulty faced by clients in accessing fast and safe financial concerns in overseas transaction.

“We aim at protecting the interest of FAB and at the same time promote its prosperity,” Pineda explained. The GTx platform was launched as a result of capability building efforts by the AFAB, provincial government of Bataan and iWAR, he added.

Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia who was among those who graced the launching lauded AFAB Chairman Pablo Gancayco and Pineda for developing the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) that will clear the way for investments and will enable the investors to do business with ease.

The governor thanked the founders of iWAR and GTx for attracting more investments, create jobs and give higher quality of life for the people of Bataan.

Congressman Joet Garcia of Bataan Second District said FAB has now become a strong player in the international market through amendments brought about by Republic Act 11453 or An Act Further Strengthening the powers and functions of AFAB that he authored in 2019.
