First batch of more than 150 children complete daycare services in Balanga

   BALANGA City, Bataan- The first batch of children aged 4 – 5 years old in three of more than 25 daycare centers in Balanga City completed daycare services and received their certificates of completion in a moving-up ceremony held Monday.

   City Vice-Mayor Noel Valdecanas led in the awarding of certificates of completion and gave “high-5” to more than 150 children from the San Jose, Nagkamayan and Bahay Bulilit daycare centers.

   The children were in toga as they marched with their mothers/guardians toward the stage at the covered court of barangay San Jose in Balanga City.

   Children are children, as they say and might have not understood their first step towards education but they held their certificates firmly and proudly displayed it.

   They participated in dance numbers but many danced their own way, away to what they practiced to the enjoyment of the big crowd.

   After the ceremony some mothers treated their children with pizza and spaghetti in fast food chains in Balanga.
