GNPD funded a three-year turtle conservation program in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bataan and the Sagip Pawikan Sitio Fuerte  Hatchery and has extended the initiative for another five years.

The release was organized by the Sagip Pawikan Sitio Fuerte Association, a community-based organization dedicated to sea turtle conservation in Morong, in collaboration with GNPD and other partners.
