Gov. Abet thanks medical practitioners

Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia profusely thanked on Monday doctors, nurses, and other frontliners who did their best in caring for the people who caught coronavirus. “Sila ang ating mga bagong bayani, hindi natin sila makakalimutan sa kanilang kabayanihan,” he said.

The governor, likewise, cited the role of municipal mayors, barangay captains and other local officials who were in the forefront of public service and for seeing to it that their constituents get medical treatment they needed much in the time of pandemic.

Gov. Garcia announced during Monday morning’s mass vaccination of medical practitioners from private hospitals that some 1,500 doctors and nurses from government hospital were already inoculated.

He reminded everyone that the invisible virulent virus is still around and that all must wear face mask, face shield, practice social distancing and always bring sanitizer. The governor added that the Covid-19 situation in Bataan is manageable and the province is at low risk compared to other places in the country.
