Bataan Governor Abet Garcia led the MOA signing ceremony for the NBI District Office located in Barangay Doña, Orani, Bataan.
Governor Garcia was joined by NBI Director Eric Distor, former NBI Director and now Philhealth President and CEO, Atty. Dante Gierran, Pilar Mayor Charlie Pizarro, Capitol department heads and other NBI officials.
NBI will also have a satellite office at the 2nd floor of The Bunker aside from another satellite office at the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) in Mariveles town.

“Malaking bagay po ito para sa ating mga kababayan lalo na yung mga job applicants na nag-aayos ng kanilang employment requirements. Hindi na nila kailangan pang magpunta sa Olongapo or San Fernando, Pampanga or Manila para lamang makakuha ng NBI clearance,” Garcia said.

The first NBI satellite office was first established at the Bataan Capitol compound in April 19, 2017.
The project aims to facilitate the growing numbers of job applicants to fill the rising job opportunities in the province due to the influx of local and foreign investments especially at the Freeport Area of Bataan and Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park.
