CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – “These new K-9 dogs will protect our beloved province against terror threats, and other disasters whether it is man-made or natural.” Police Chief Inspector Dennis Orbista of the Bataan Provincial Police Office (Bataan PPO) made this announcement when they presented their five newly-acquired K-9 dogs during this morning’s traditional flag-raising ceremony, January 14, at the Bataan People’s Center, Capitol Compound.
The names of the dog and their handlers are as follows: “Shark”, handler is PO1 John Michael Dela Cruz; “Acuz”, handler is PO1 Jay Mark Bacani; “Noah”, handler is PO2 Roderick Baarquit; “Bingo”, handler is PO1 Abner Zabat; and “Makiling”, handler is SPO1 Israel Cesita.
With these five new acquisition, Bataan PPO now has a total of seven K-9 dogs.
