SP lauds Bataan PD for safe rescue of kidnapped boy

 BALANGA CITY, Bataan-  Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan lauded the other day Sr. Supt. Flynn Dongbo, Bataan police director  and his men for the successful rescue of a kidnapped boy and the arrest of two suspected hold uppers in Samal town.

   During Monday’s SP session held at Louise Restaurant, Board Member Gaudencio Ferrer and his colleagues gave Col. Dongbo a round of applause and commendation for the well-planned rescue of a kidnap for ransom victim identified as Christian Rivera, 12, a native of Tarlac, and the arrest of suspects identified as Freddie Aguilar and Alvin Samar.

  Last Saturday, joint police forces here and the Tarlac police led by Col. Dongbo and Supt. Melecio Buslig, Jr., Intelligence Chief and incumbent Balanga police chief, rescued unharmed the kidnap victim and captured in the process two suspected kidnappers in their hideout in Barangay Gugo, Samal town. Col. Dongbo said that the surprise raid they conducted led to the rescue of the kidnap victim unharmed.

   According to Supt. Melecio Buslig, the victim was on his way to school in Bgy. Sto Cristo, Concepcion, Tarlac when he was abducted by the suspects.

   From Tarlac, the suspects brought the victim to a safehouse in Gugo, Samal not knowing that the police team from and the Bataan police were then tailing them. The suspects had asked for P15 million as ransom from the victims’ family.
