Sta. Lucia, 1st runner up at 2025 National LTIA

Barangay Sta. Lucia, Samal, has earned national recognition for winning 1st Runner-Up , 4th to 6th Class Municipality Category of the 2025 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) during the national awarding ceremony. The achievement shows  the  sustained commitment to effective conflict resolution at barangay level.

Sta. Lucia officials  led by Punong Barangay Hector Forbes  credited the strong support of  Mayor Alex Acuzar for  them to achieve   the award.  Samal barangay leaders said the award serves as motivation to continue strengthening programs, improving services, and developing innovative approaches to community peace and order.
