SAMAL, Bataan- Mayor Gene Malibiran dela Fuente has announced the holding of a fun run in this beautiful and peaceful municipality on December 6, 2014. “Dubbed as ‘Takbo Samaleno’, the fun run is a fund-raising project for out-of-school youth and the K-12 scholarship program that can aptly be called ‘Takbo Samaleño Para sa Edukasyon Ko’,” the lady mayor said.
Mobilization starts at 4:30 in the morning at the Lying-In Center adjacent to the kapis-inspired town hall. Zumba as warm-up follows at 5:00 a.m. “I am calling on residents in the 14 barangays and even those from other towns to join in the fun run for a cause aside from getting the needed exercise,” the mayor said.
Deadline for the submission of forms is on November 21, 2014. Entrance fee is P150 per individual. To have a beautiful running T-shirt, just add P50 or a total fee of P200.
