The Dept. of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 3 is coming up with a zoom conference on April 21, using digital technology and modern communications as its platform which is not only very timely but also very vital for business recovery, growth and consumer protection.
With the theme, “Maximizing Innovations and Technology in the Better Normal”, DTI Region 3 is inviting/gathering all stakeholders from different fields to discuss trends, updates and important issues that concern government agencies, the business sector and the consumers.
According to Ms. Nora Reclosado of DTI Bataan, said conference also aims at discussing the modern ways of interaction, using modern technology for better delivery of services and output. She added that the conference will also feature industry 4.0 and its impact to Central Luzon industries, interventions to improve connectivity, getting ready for better normal, Phil. E-commerce roadmap and avoid fraud from online transactions.
Reclosado also pointed out that industry 4.0 is the digital transformation of manufacturing, production and related industries value creation processes while TOUCHPOINT, is like a brand used in business which primarily means, a point of contact or interaction using technology between business and its consumers and also the highway by which industry 4.0 is running for government and other sectors.
Ms. Leonila Baluyut, DTI Region 3 Director said that, it is a must to ensure that all sectors begin to accept the need, learn and apply the new technology (digitalization) in order to sustain the social and economic aspect of “living” from the current new normal towards transition to the “better normal”.
