Triathlon also helps promote tourism– Pangandaman

The three-day FAB 5150 Triathlon, the first ever global 5150 event in Luzon will not only promote the Freeport Area of Bataan but the whole province of Bataan, according to Mohammed Hussein P. Pangandaman, administrator and CEO of Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB).

Pangandaman said during the opening of the first international sports event last Saturday that “this activity will benefit not only FAB or Mariveles town but will showcase the scenic sites of the province and attract tourists.”

“Lahat po tayo sa Bataan ay makikinabang sa sports event na ito sapagkat makikita po ito sa buong mundo at mahihikayat na bumisita sa Bataan. Wala po tayong problema sa environment,” the AFAB top honcho said.

The Triathlon features participants from Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, United States, and several other European countries.

During the presscon, Pangandaman pointed out that development of amenities in FAB is a continuing process to attract more prospective locators.
