2 companies donate cash for Iskolar Ng Bataan program

CAPITOL, Bataan – In support to the province’s Iskolar ng Bataan program, two multinational companies based in Mariveles town donated cash yesterday morning.

Governor Abet S. Garcia and Vice Governor Cris Garcia personally received the two checks from Businessman Alberto G Bautista, general manager of Mariveles Grain Corp. The other donor is Philippine Foremost Milling Corp. Each company donated P50,000  for a total of P100,000.

Gov. Garcia thanked Bautista for their efforts in contributing to the Iskolar ng Bataan, an education program started by the late Congressman Tet Garcia and fully supported by Gov. Abet Garcia, Rep Joet Garcia, Balanga City Mayor Francis Garcia, Dinalupihan Town Mayor Gila Garcia and the provincial board.

Since the scholarship program was started, thousands of poor but deserving students have graduated, making Bataan the envy of others
