Bataan Baseco Joint Venture Inc. (BBJVI) held its year-end report presentation and formally turned over a 5% share allocation to the Provincial Government of Bataan, the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan, and the Municipality of Mariveles in a move highlighting transparency, partnership, and inclusive development.
Led by BBJVI President and CEO Jopet Inton, the event featured the company’s year-end accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and future development plans, particularly for the communities of Barangay Baseco and Barangay Sisiman in Mariveles.
During the presentation, Inton emphasized BBJVI’s commitment to sustainable community growth through strategic infrastructure and economic development projects. Among the key initiatives discussed were a proposed housing program, road network expansion, fishport development, and other community-centered projects aimed at generating long-term opportunities for residents.
The turnover of the 5% shares underscored BBJVI’s commitment to equitable partnership and shared progress among key stakeholders, symbolizing strengthened collaboration between the private sector and government institutions in advancing development programs across the province.
Also present during the event were BBJVI Chairman Rod Franco, Vice Chairman Romulo Dela Rosa, Adviser Doji Libatique, company officials, legal counsels, and representatives from AFAB and the local government of Mariveles, reaffirming support for BBJVI’s long-term vision for coastal development in Bataan.
