BALANGA City – The Bataan World War II Museum adjacent to the Surrender Site Monument in Balanga City is in need of more donations of war artifacts.
Mario Magat, executive director of the museum, on Thursday said they still have limited artifacts, mostly donated by volunteers. “Nananawagan kami na kung merong memorabilla tungkol sa World War II ang inyong lolo, lola at magulang, mangyaring ilagak dito.”
Housed at the museum that opened only last February are story panels from peacetime to liberation, a few war artifacts and diorama in the form of dolls about the Death March that started in Mariveles and Bagac towns on April 10 and 11, 1942; respectively, after Bataan fell on April 9.
