Gov Abet, deals with flood control projects hands on

In his earnest desire to alleviate flooding in the Province, and spare his constituents from its ill-effects especially those dwelling in low lying areas, Gov. Abet S. Garcia himself presided over yesterday’s coordination meeting held at the Bulwagan ng Bayan 2. Some of those present in the said meeting were Chairman Charlie Pizarro of the Metropolitan Bataan Development Authority(MBDA), Provincial Engineer Enrico Yuzon (PEO), Mayor Antonio Raymundo (Orion) Mayor Alice Pizarro (Pilar), Engr. Carlos dela Fuente (PDRRMO) and the municipal engineers from the different local government units of the Province.

ABBD Co. Ltd to invest in FAB

CAPITOL, Balanga City – A group of Japanese investors representing the ABBD Co. Ltd  based in Shizouka Prefecture, Japan with associate offices in Bangladesh and Hongkong arrived here last Friday, June 13, 2014 to conduct an ocular visit in the Freeport Area of Bataan and discuss possible areas of business undertakings. Their first stop was at Hermosa, Bataan where they paid a courtesy call to Mayor Danny Malana who later joined them at the briefing conducted by the Head of the Hermosa Economic Zone (HEZ).

Camp Tolentino, Balanga City – In line with the Province’s mission of providing excellent public service, the new Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA) chaired by former Pilar Mayor, Carlos “Charlie” F. Pizarro Jr and the Philippine National Police (PNP) under the command of Police Sr. Supt. Audie Atienza in coordination with the Hi-way Patrol Unit 3 headed by their chief, Capt. Bienvenido Gaya, conducted a 15 day Motorcycle Riding Orientation-Training among 52 personnel (42 from all over Bataan PNP stations except Limay and Orion 3 of whom are women, 6 from the Capitol Security Intelligence Unit (CSIU), 2 from the City Marshall, 2 from the MBDA and 10 civilians).

NGCP proposes submarine cable to link upcoming power plants in Bataan to Metro Manila

   MANILA – The National Grid Corp of the Philippines (NGCP) plans to put up a submarine cable that will link to Metro Manila the power projects that are underway in Bataan province.

   In its petition before the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), the private grid operator sought clearance for the Bataan-Cavite/Metro Manila Transmission Line Project (Phase 1).
