ABUCAY, Bataan – The Shield, the official student publication of Colegio de San Juan de Letran-Bataan has come up with its literary folio aptly titled, “Barya”.

A collection of essays, poems, short stories in Filipino and English, Barya depicts the contemporary Philippine society in the eyes of the students. Evoking a myriad of emotions, experienced by the youth of today, one could easily relate to the writers.

HERMOSA, Bataan- The southwest monsoon or habagat enhanced by typhoon Luis triggered from light to heavy intermittent rains in most parts of Bataan Sunday afternoon till evening, causing the flooding of two barangays in Hermosa, midnight of Sunday.

DOLE Regional Director Atty. Ana C. Dione said that the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Regional Welfare Office 3, under the stewardship of its director, Ma. Lourdes Reyes, released various livelihood assistance amounting to P2.09 million.
