Do not ignore checkpoints-PNP

Col. Palomo said a flagged down rider must present his license and the OR/CR of his motorcycle for verification and security purposes.

In a related news, PNP-Bataan, through the Provincial Public Safety Company, has conducted 158 daily preventive patrols since January this year to uphold peace throughout the peninsula.

P. Supt. Allan Palomo reported 1,464 mobile patrols; 1,821 checkpoints in vital installations; and 14 combat operations.

Sr. Supt. Flynn Dongbo, Bataan PNP director, ordered his men to intensify police visibility, anticrime campaign and conduct mobile checkpoints along the highways following reports that crime incidence for the first 8 months this year has increased.

Col. Dongbo however clarified that this does not mean that the peace and order in the Province has worsened, it’s just that “all the small and petty crimes being committed in remote areas are now being reported and documented for record purposes.”
