Ninety-five percent of members of Bataan police force are now vaccinated – either first dose or second dose.
P/Col. Joel K. Tampis, Bataan police director, said the policemen and policewomen were inoculated through the courtesy of the local government unit where they are assigned or posted by the provincial police command. He said only a small number of cops remained unvaccinated pending health concerns and other circumstances.

Tampis said the Bataan PNP and the provincial government are one in its goal of achieving herd immunity before year-end.
Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia in his recent pronouncement said he is very hopeful of realizing herd immunity in the province by December despite “the odds.”
The governor urged Bataan folks to follow health protocols to put a stop to the spread of Covid-19 and its highly transmissible Delta variant.
