BAGAC, Bataan – Bataan 2nd District Rep. Jose Enrique “Joet” Garcia III graced the formal opening of the 4th Negosyo Center at the Bagac municipal hall this morning.
Garcia was joined by Mayor Louise Gabrielle “Gab” Del Rosario and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Regional Director for Central Luzon Judith Angeles.
Through the Negosyo Center, DTI aims to broaden business opportunities for the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the province.
Noted entrepreneur Amanda Battad, former board member Gaudencio Ferrer, and DTI-Bataan OIC provincial director, Nelin Cabahug were also present in the event.
The establishment of Negosyo Centers is pursuant to Republic Act 10644 otherwise known as the Go Negosyo Act.
Last year, the 29 existing Negosyo Centers in Central Luzon have served 34,897 clients and have facilitated and processed the Business Name Registration of 23,361 MSMEs.
