Vice Gov Cris backs further improvement of Bataan’s HDI rating

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Vice Governor Cris Garcia said she will fully back the further improvement of Bataan’s Human Development Index ranking.

“I fully support the provincial government’s vision of highest HDI ranking, which means better life for the people of Bataan”, she said during her radio guesting at 91.1 Sikat FM.

“I will give priority to health, education, and livelihood”, she said.

“With good programs on these areas, we can further improve our HDI ranking”, she added.

 “If I am not mistaken, we are already in the top 5 of HDI but we want to improve it further”, she also said.

She vowed to work hand in hand with Gov. Abet Garcia for the progress of the province.  She also said she will lead the Sangguniang Panlalawigan as an effective legislative body.
