Mariveles boosts tourism

MARIVELES, Bataan – Local tourism in this town got its needed boost with the hiring of a local beauty to head its tourism office.

Mayor AJ Concepcion hired Miss Bataan 2016 First Runner Charlene Versoza to head the Municipal Tourism Office. She was Mutya ng Mariveles 2016.

 “The hiring Versoza will surely boost our tourism”, said Councilor Tito Catipon. The new tourism officer is Bataan’s Ambassadress of Investments and Industries.

Incidentally, Mariveles is a booming industrial territory that hosts Freeport Area of Bataan.    

The Sangguniang Bayan headed by Vice Mayor Lito Rubia welcomed Versoza and her staff during a courtesy visit at the session hall on Monday.

Mariveles has mountains, ridges, rock formations, and beaches which lure tourists.
