BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Bataan SSS Prov’l Head, Joel Villafuerte regrets to inform SSS members here in Bataan regarding the delay in the release of checks for salary loan, death, disability, retirement, sickness and maternity claims submitted last May 22, 2018 onwards due to check printer malfunction.

Villafuerte said that members need not worry for the necessary repairs are already underway and SSS aims to have the checks ready for delivery via Phil post by the second week of June 2018 and is coordinating with our local Phil post for special handling of these checks for faster delivery.

Bataan Social Security System, according to Villafuerte is doing its best to notify affected members and pensioners of said delay and are sending notifications via txt messages thru the numbers they registered with SSS, but if they wish to inquire more, they can call or personally come to SSS Bataan office or email memberrelation@sssgov.ph.

Villafuerte further said that this is the first time that SSS had a check printer malfunction for which the agency apologizes for the inconvenience.
