CAPITOL COMPOUND – The heavy rains brought by TS Domeng, did not hinder the Provincial Government of Bataan from celebrating the country’s 120th Independence Day inside the Bataan People’s Center.
The traditional celebration started with the entrance of the Philippine flag carried by enlisted men from the PNP followed by the heads of the different departments of the provincial government, the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Vice Governor Cris Garcia and Governor Albert S. Garcia, all wearing the traditional Filipiniana costume.
Students from the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) and Bataan National High School rendered song and dance numbers.
In addition to the inspiring message of the governor, another highlight of the event this morning is the awarding of ISO Certification to the 12 departments (initially) who passed the standards set by the ISO certifying body
