Infrastructure projects heighten Bataan town growth

BALANGA CITY, Bataan -The substantial growth of the northern Bataan town is an offshoot of the implementation of public works projects which strengthen the economic development frameworks and motivating features for the establishment of commercial complex.
Erwin Garcia, 49, farmer and councilman of Barangay Saguing, Dinalupihan town, this province, explained the construction of multi-billion peso flood control project in Dinalupihan-Hermosa towns, upgrading of drainage system, concreting of Layac-town proper and other solid waste management projects initiated by Mayor Maria Angela S. Garcia are deemed solid structures that provide healthy business and friendly environment .
He said the town used to experience constant flooding problems along the stretches of the national road of Dinalupihan town which affected the smooth flow of goods, travelers and services.
However, when Mayor Maria Angela S. Garcia took over the helm as municipal executive she introduced infrastructure measures to solve the perennial setbacks.
The councilman mentioned that the lady mayor introduced bamboo farming projects in Barangay Saguing to provide the residents with other alternative income generating opportunities and other food security programs in the locality.
Councilman Garcia pinpointed, the lady executive has also formulated a long-range health program with the creation of a dialysis center at the Dinalupihan District Hospital and medical assistance to patients of the municipality.
The successful cohesive and compassionate health plans and implementation of meaningful reforms, Councilman Garcia has evaluated as two of the principal reasons why Mayor Garcia remains one of the most popular leaders in Bataan.
The councilman identified basic contributory reasons to the town’s growth as higher government investments in infrastructure, human development index, generally peaceful and orderly environment, economic reforms on fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, availability of highly-skilled and professional workers, sufficient power, communication and other facilities for the smooth and productive operations of business firms.
