ORANI, Bataan – Reelected First District Board Member Benjie Serrano took his oath here on Friday.
He was sworn in by Orani Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) president Jun Acuna in the latter’s office.
The second term board member was accompanied by his wife Mylene Serrano during the oath-taking.
He had to take the oath in Orani a day after his slate mates were sworn in Balanga City because he had to attend to the wake of his mother.
Serrano is Bataan senior board member for garnering the highest votes percentagewise among elected board members in the concluded May elections in the province.
He vowed to continue serving the people of Bataan. He has been conducting barangay visits dubbed Dalaw Barangay in the villages of the first district since elected member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
Every February 9 of the year, in celebration of his birthday, Serrano is also sponsoring medical and dental missions in Orani where he was three-term mayor.
