Adopting latest waste disposal technique promotes investments

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The adoption of technologically-advanced waste disposal system  and installation of bio-gas facility in the remote area of Barangay Capitangan, Abucay, this province, would encourage  more investors in Bataan which is recognized as one of the fast growing industrial hubs in Central Luzon.

Board Member Dante R. Manalaysay, chairman of Social Welfare and Development  Committee of the Bataan Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) has expressed meaningful benefits with the proposed  tie-up of two locators to start a P500 million sanitary landfill and bio-gas facility as  a highly-favorable productive step in pursuing agro-industrial development.

He noted the modern-concept of solid waste management scheme would provide feasible mechanism which would protect the eco-system and welfare of the residents of the historic peninsula.

The advantageous multiple roles of sanitary landfill and bio-gas  to generate one-million megawatt electricity is exactly a motivating factor in encouraging small and medium entrepreneurs  to participate in  revenue-earning activities in Abucay, Samal and Pilar  towns, Board Member Manalaysay said.

The operation of the sanitary landfill and bio-gas services would hasten the methodical disposal and processing of household waste and poultry farms’ chicken manures into more tangible and efficient mode, Manalaysay added.
