AFAB earns 2024 FOI compliance recognition from PCOO

The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) has once again been recognized by the Presidential Communications Office (PCOO) as a 2024 Freedom of Information (FOI) Compliant agency.

This recognition, announced in March 2026, honors the agency’s strict adherence to the Freedom of Information (FOI) and transparency guidelines established under Memorandum Circular No. 2025-001, series of 2025.

The PCOO highlighted AFAB’s continued compliance with policies that promote public access to information and accountability in government operations

Officials said the recognition underscores AFAB’s sustained efforts to uphold clean, open, and honest public service for its stakeholders.
