AFAB, GMEC-GNPD enhance collaboration for economic development

Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and AboitizPower Subsidiaries GMEC-GNPD are exploring new opportunities for collaboration to boost economic growth in the Freeport.

AFAB executives led by its Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman and executives of AboitizPower Subsidiaries GMEC-GNPD headed by President and CEO Ronaldo Ramos recently met and discussed aligning their efforts to promote industrial growth, energy sustainability, and infrastructure development within the FAB.

Both parties also expressed optimism about ongoing collaborations, highlighting their commitment to further enhancing the economic environment for businesses and workers in the area.

AFAB Deputy Administrator for Operations Michael Angelo P. Paderanga, Chief of Staff Augusto H. Kimpo, and FAB Enterprise Department Manager Atty. Lawrence Leo Pelaez also attended the meeting. Representing AboitizPower Subsidiaries GMEC-GNPD were COO Emmanuel Lopez, VP for Corporate Services Andrea Madrid, and VP for External Relations Ramon Pernia.
