AFAB to hold job registration, band night for Mariveles’ 70th Liberation Day

MARIVELES, Bataan – Do you want to submit your resumes to the leading companies at the Freeport Area of Bataan with ease and have fun after an 8-hour duty at your work? Then, the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) has prepared something for you.

In celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation and Founding of the town of Mariveles, the Authority will be holding a one-day job registration program for all Mariveleans on February 7 (Saturday) at People’s Park, Brgy. Poblacion.

The registration will start at 9:00 in the morning and run until 4:00pm. Interested job seekers need to bring resume or biodata with picture, barangay clearance, photocopy and original copy of police clearance and school or training credentials such as diploma, training certificate and transcript of record.

Some of the positions being offered by the locators are sewers, controllers, carpenters, processors, secretary, logistic staff or custodian, accounting clerk, human resource officer, maintenance and IT staff, administrative staff, engineers, supervisors and managers. After the job registration, local bands will stage a music show called “Feb Musik Love-band”. Aside from celebrating the founding anniversary, the entertainment show also aims to promote local bands, talents and music.The three-hour music show will start at 7:00pm. Mariveleans are also invited to celebrate Valentines Day in advance at the show as the bands are expected to serenade the crowd.
