Aggressive tourism drive pushed

The Provincial Tourism Office of Bataan is venturing into an aggressive drive to uplift the province’s tourism industry. During a discussion at the “Bisita Bayan” in Orani last Monday, Provincial Tourism Officer, Ms. Danica Tigas said that plans are now afoot to put up important amenities in tourism-oriented spots in Bataan.

She said the creation and updating of a municipal tourism office in every municipality is being worked out to facilitate the implementation of the tourism program in the province.

An updated report on the number of tourist arrivals and tourist spots being visited is one of office’s important tasks.
