CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – Region 3 Chamber of Commerce and Industry Presidents’ 1st meeting for 2017 revealed that Bataan is the only province with the highest grades as far as investment, infrastructure and support from local government officials are concerned, as reported by Ms. Amanda Battad, Bataan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board Chairperson.
Ms. Battad said that during said meeting of business tycoons in the region, it was observed that problems in infrastructure and lack of support from local officials hamper their projects and activities.
Ms. Battad’s report which was complimented by the attendees, cited that almost all infrastructure in Bataan are in place. Aside from topping the most number of investments in Region 3 as per DTI report, the Bataan Chamber has the 100% support of the local government officials.
Meanwhile in the discussion, some trending issues and concern floated, some of which are: the interest of millennials or children in the present millennium – they have the tendency to disregard their business empire when their parents are gone; another is while it was reported by Pampanga Chamber that by next year, the 4th SM Mall will rise in Pampanga, being the only province in the country with the most number of SM Malls, they fear the lack of employees to qualify in the different positions because of “mismatching” and breach training.
The business tycoons also unanimously admitted that topping the concerns of employees nowadays is the stability of the company rather than their salary. Hence, in the meeting, they agreed to conduct further studies in the dynamics of the different industries in relation to the different factors that hamper businesses and chamber activities.
