Bataan SP passes ordinance institutionalizing Libreng E-Bus Service Program

The Bataan Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP)  approved an ordinance on April 27 institutionalizing the province’s Libreng E-Bus Service Program, providing free and accessible public transportation to residents. The ordinance was adopted during  SP regular session presided  by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia.

The measure was endorsed by Gov. Joet Garcia, who requested the passage of the ordinance to ensure the continuity and expansion of the e-bus service across the province. The program seeks to ease the daily commute of constituents, particularly students, workers, and senior citizens, while promoting environmentally sustainable transportation. With the ordinance in place, the provincial government is expected to strengthen the implementation of the free e-bus service.
