CAMP TOLENTINO, Bataan – First-time Bataan Board Member Popoy Del Rosario sees productive partnership with local police as he lauded the latter for the continued effort to maintain peace and order in the province.
“I believe the Committee on Peace and Order at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan will be given to me. I am looking forward to a productive partnership with you”, the board member told members of Bataan police in his message during Monday’s flag-raising ceremony where he was the guest speaker.
The board member’s message was applauded by the police personnel present at the ceremony led by Bataan PNP Director Villamor Tuliao who was seated together with other high-ranking police officers at the stage.
“Please always invite me in your activities here”, he also said.
The board member vowed to support all legislative measures needed in the peace and order drive in the province.
He also assured the continued support of Gov. Abet Garcia and Vice. Gov. Cris Garcia to the police.
Del Rosario made history as the first elected regular board member to come from Bagac, the smallest town in the province in terms of population.
