BPSU reaps awards in Philippine Student Quill

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Bataan Peninsula State University was awarded with Top Award for Communications Management alongside 10 other awards during the 6th Philippine Student Quill Awards held at Resorts World Manila on July 9.
Eight combined Awards of Merit and Excellence were bestowed to The Guilds, the official student publication of BPSU Main Campus.
Its 2017 issue of Newsletter, Tabloid, Broadsheet, Magazine, and Literary Folio titled Kapitolyo were recognized for their valuable contribution in the field of business communication. In addition, the publication’s documentary film titled Malulam was also cited by the award giving body.
Meanwhile, the Project Litratu: Mayhang Pamana, Bilang nga Mayhang (one legacy as Filipino) and Yakap: A Benefit Show for Marawi organized by BPSU students and alumni were recognized for the social impact they brought through reaching out to indigenous people and the victims of Marawi City war last year.
This has been the 6th year of Philippine Student Quill in honoring exemplary communication research, programs, skills, and creative work of student organizations in the country.
