BALANGA CITY, Bataan – In line with the thrust of Gov. Abet Garcia to improve the life of Bataan folks, carabaos were distributed to beneficiaries held at capitol compound on Tuesday.

Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Alberto Venturina said 15 upgraded carabaos were given to beneficiaries coming from different towns of the province.

Vice Governor Cris Garcia representing the governor led the distribution of the carabaos.

“Animal dispersal is a continuing program of the provincial government through the leadership of Gov. Abet Garcia”, the vice governor said.

“We at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, which I head, fully back all the programs of the governor”, she added.

“We ask all of you to take care of the carabaos given to you, and we earnestly hope the program will help improve your living”, the vice governor told beneficiaries.

Venturina said the governor was exchanging text messages with him during the activity monitoring the actual dispersal of carabaos. The governor was attending an equally important official function, said the provincial veterinarian.

Agriculture entrepreneur and beneficiary Phillip Ramos of Sitio Santa Monica, Barangay Tuyo lauded the animal dispersal program of the provincial government.

Venturina said the carabaos distributed were provided by the Department of Agriculture.
