BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion of the industrial town of Mariveles in Southern Bataan is meticulously eyeing for a comprehensive infrastructure, housing and shelter development program in the midst of sustainable economic growth.
Mayor Concepcion is readying to formulate a well-organized urban planning and land use approaches to perk-up the living status of the residents and promote gainful employment in preparation for the heavy migration of technical people and their families in the historic peninsula.
Several prominent real estate developers and leisure property firms from Metro Manila and Central Luzon have started implementing socialized and high-end housing projects in the coastal villages of Mariveles town mostly situated facing the majestic West Philippine Sea and famous Corregidor Island.
Mayor Concepcion, a lawyer, has observed that the real estate developers have expanded its business operations this year mostly property development to ride on the favorable local economic prosperity cycle.
Aside from striving to build-up socialized housing communities , commercial business establishments and road facilities to explore the rich vegetative sectors in the countryside, Mayor Concepcion is closely coordinating with Bataan Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia in analyzing the best options of encouraging more locators like stable fiscal incentive measures, peaceful business environment, modernized hospital facilities ,steady supply power and water and sufficient and competitive high-skilled manpower .
He said operations of two Public-Private Partnership projects, the Bataan –Cavite toll way bridge and the international port terminal projects in Mariveles town are expected to rekindle the glorious significance of Central and Southern Luzon to the national economy.
The industrial town of Mariveles is the site of the first export processing zone now known as one of the fastest expanding economic zones, Freeport Area of Bataan and the first petrochemical complex in the country.
