HERMOSA, Bataan – Bataan First District Board Member Benjie Serrano Jr. conducted on Sunday Dalaw Barangay in Palihan, Hermosa.

Residents of the barangay enjoyed free haircut, dental services, massage, and anti-rabies vaccine for dogs and cats, and feeding program, among others.

“Aside from giving free services, I took the opportunity to report to Palihan folks the good leadership of Gov. Abet Garcia, the many beneficial programs of the capitol,  the development of Bataan’s Bunker,  and the increasing number of investors in the province”, Serrano said.

“I also updated them on the ordinances and resolutions we passed at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan through the leadership of Vice Gov. Cris Garcia”, said the board member who is the Chairman of SP Committee on Agriculture.

“The funds I use for the Dalaw Barangay does not come from the government but from BenSer Foundation and other donors”, he pointed out.

“I thank Barangay Palihan Captain Ricardo Dela Cruz, Kagawad Jess Garcia and other Sangguniang Barangay members for the support to the program. Kagawad Garcia invited me to conduct the Dalaw Barangay in their village”, he said.

“I also thank Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton for the support”, he added.

The board member, a three-term mayor of Orani, started the Dalaw Barangay during his first term as mayor.

“The program makes closer dealing with common people and know their real problems”, he pointed out.
