ORANI, Bataan – Mayor Efren E. Pascual, Jr. of this town is vigorously pursuing a socio-economic development program that would enhance the quality of life of the residents and the business atmosphere as well.
According to Mayor Pascual, the groundwork for the innovative socio-economic procedures would carry out the positive approaches of concrete action from barangay levels, both government and non-government, to embark on projects for wider foundation opportunity and sustainable growth.
The anticipated progress of the historical town and its natural resources, the thriving mountain resorts and coastal environment, provide a source of livelihood, recreation, transportation, a sense of beauty, culture and history.
The town chief executive explained the local government officials here are readying socio-economic measures of exploring the essential entry points in infrastructure, health, education and social services in consonance with the expected influx of local and Metro Manila based locators to the growing popularity of the town’s upland farm and forest tourism sites.
He revealed a financier from Metro Manila has expressed his willingness to finance the improvement of the town’s public market under the Public-Private Partnership scheme and other projects.
Under the local government objective of becoming one of the top five tourism destinations in Central Luzon, the town is on the verge of raising the level economic growth, job generations and make the residents more productive through improvement of facilities and opportunities for small and medium entrepreneurs.
